Just to give a brief background - Dyrholaey is a small peninsula or promontory near Vik, a small village. Dyrholaey is famous for both spectacular views and Icelandic puffins. Carved between Atlantic Ocean shores and vast Landmannalagur mountains, Dyrholaey black sand beaches are more of a hidden gem.
I was waiting for my turn as most of the onlookers had created a bottleneck while focussing on spotting handful of puffins. Since, I was worried of losing critical light due to onset of rains, I wandered off along the other end. It had already started raining by then and had created a moody landscape that just felt perfect for the setting of rocks against crashing waves.
